Your Mission

Business/Operational

Understand the business operations and be able to identify tax issues of operating units arising from transactions and discussions
Tax planning opportunities, manage tax risks, implement process controls for compliance and governance (15%)
Prepare tax advisory on business transactions (20%) Stakeholder/Customer
Identify and highlight tax risk issues for necessary action (15%)
Research on technical issues to advise the operating units (10%)

Finance

Portfolio management/strategic planning (10%)

People/Communication

Provide guidance and assistance to and monitor tax compliance by operating units (20%)
Increase tax awareness/ enhance tax knowledge of operating units’ finance personnel to ensure high level of tax compliance/improve quality of tax reporting (10%)

Ideal Candidate

Degree/Professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy.
At least 8 years of relevant experience; preferably a mixture of experience from professional firm and commercial experience.
