Job Overview

Elite Asia is seeking dynamic and driven freelancers to enhance our esteemed linguist team. As a vital contributor, you will undertake translation assignments that align with the specific needs of our diverse clientele. Our projects primarily span the Legal, Banking, Finance, Media, and Marketing sectors, underscoring the need for translators with specialized knowledge in these areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute translation tasks that adhere to client specifications.
• Maintain a minimum daily translation capacity of 1,200 words and/or a weekly capacity of 6,000 words or more.
• Provide timely responses to job inquiries within one hour during office hours (Mon-Fri).
• Indicate willingness to accept urgent assignments and availability for weekend or public holiday work as needed.
  
  

Required Skills

• Exceptional fluency in English and Mandarin/Chinese, specifically in the dialects of Singapore and Malaysia.
• Proficient in post-editing machine-translated content to achieve human quality standards.
• Familiarity with industries such as Advertising, Government, Education, Gaming, Legal, Industrial and Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical or Medical, Retail and E-commerce, Technology, and Travel and Hospitality is highly advantageous.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in translation is preferred; however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• A proven track record of managing urgent projects effectively is essential.
