Marketing & Communications Intern

Job Description:

• Assist in planning, writing, and managing social media presence, including daily monitoring, posting, scheduling, and reporting updates.
• Produce copy for collateral that is clear, engaging, and reflective of the organization's voice.
• Support collateral conceptualization and creativity based on given requirements or direction.
• Assist in social media and marketing collateral production, with a specific focus on graphic design (e.g., creating social media posters/ads, and short videos).
• Provide input for creative marketing strategies and social media campaigns.
• Collaborate with the team on new ideas, directions, and tools for marketing and communications.
• Design event/program fliers, graphics, and other marketing material.
• Create online advertisements as needed.

Selection Criteria:

• Interest in strategic communications, and a strong willingness to learn and explore new things.
• Able to express voice and ideas for organization and team growth.
• Able to ideate and brainstorm independently and within the team and swift to deliver good quality work.
• Being able to use feedback to improve outcomes is a plus point.
• Eye for detail with the ability to proofread and edit accordingly.
• Good command of English, Bahasa Melayu, and/or any other additional language.
• Good knowledge and skill in using creative tools to produce engaging collaterals.
• Passionate about creative writing
• Possess excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Having editing and design skills is a plus point.
