MoneySmart Group is South East Asia's leading personal financial portal helping consumers compare loans, insurance, and credit cards. MoneySmart was founded in 2009 with the simple aim to help consumers make better financial decisions.


Mission

Your mission is to produce online and offline creatives within the parameters of the overall MoneySmart brand experience by assisting the departments of the MoneySmart team. Personal finance is complex, but through compelling visuals, we aim to help our users gain the confidence to make the best financial decisions.


You will be working with a team of multidisciplinary designers across both Singapore and Hong Kong markets, and with the Content, Marketing and Commercial teams to develop creative content and visuals for brand, content and acquisition marketing. You may also work closely with the product design team to implement our visual brand across multiple touchpoints. You will be supported by the MoneySmart Marketplace design team consisting of animators, illustrators and communication designers for the production of creatives for MoneySmart.


We are looking for a skilled, meticulous designer with a background in brand design and/or digital marketing. As a visual communicator, you are expected to create marketing and commercial materials to promote the MoneySmart brand and financial products online and offline.


Responsibilities

  • Design and create visually compelling graphics and layouts for various marketing materials, including digital ads, social media content, email templates, and offline collateral
  • Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to develop creative concepts that align with MoneySmart's brand guidelines and campaign objectives
  • Assist in the development of brand identity elements and ensure consistency across all marketing design outputs
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for visual storytelling and campaign themes
  • Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand standards


Requirements

  • At least 1-3 years experience in a graphic design, digital marketing or advertising agency, or freelance
  • Strong visual portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in creating effective marketing materials
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
  • Experience in digital marketing design, including social media, email marketing, and web design, is preferred
  • Video editing or motion design experience is a plus
  • Education in Graphic Design, Visual communications, or a related field


Key Skills

  • Strong design skills with proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
  • Strong layout and visual design skills with a deep understanding of design fundamentals
  • Good understanding of marketing design principles and how to create engaging content for various channels
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate design concepts effectively
  • Able to articulate design decisions and rationalise every design decision made in adherence to the MoneySmart brand
  • Able to determine the best and effective visual methods and output to successfully impart information
