Material Control Manager 物控经理

Job Responsibilities:

a. Materials Planning and Procurement: Develop and execute materials plans, manage supplier relationships, and oversee materials procurement negotiations and contract management to ensure timely availability of materials needed for production.

b. Inventory Management: Manage and optimize material inventory levels to align with production plans, and implement inventory control strategies to reduce excess inventory and waste.

c. Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate material flow between internal departments to ensure smooth operation of the supply chain, and handle logistics and transportation arrangements to ensure timely delivery of materials to production sites.

d. Quality and Cost Control: Ensure materials meet quality standards, collaborate with the quality department for quality management, and analyze and optimize materials procurement costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.

e. System and Process Optimization: Manage and optimize materials management systems and processes, introduce new technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy, and improve materials control and supply chain management effectiveness.

f. Team Management and Development: Lead and guide the materials control team, develop team capabilities and skills, and provide necessary training and development opportunities to ensure the team operates efficiently and continues to grow.

Job Qualifications:

a. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.

b. Experience: Over 7 years of progressive experience in material control management, with at least 3 years in a management role in overseeing material control operations.

c. Proficient in Mandarin, English and Malay.
