Mechanical Engineer

Job Purpose :

Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting can, pouch, stick filling and sealing equipment, ensuring proper product filling and sealing, and performing repairs and preventative maintenance on the machinery.

• Seaming & filling , can and lid making, pouch liquid vertical filling, double seam setting and tuning. Lid and can parameter specification.

Key Accountabilities :

· Delivering engineering supports daily production activities.

· Machine performance, application & process analysis

· Develop Root Caused Analysis (RCA) on equipment failure or breakdowns and provide long term preventive action.

· Plan all resources required for a maintenance repair/overhaul so that the job can be carried out in an efficient manner

· Prepare job safety risk assessment so that the job can be performed in safe manner

· Liaise with other departments such as QA & QC for double-seem quality monitoring.

· Cooperate with production to achieve output and productivity.

· Monitor and control maintenance expenditure to be below budget

· Provide training to subordinates for continuous improvement

· Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time

· Participating and cooperating in 5S, Kaizen, TPM, plant improvement, cost saving, campaign and training activities organized by the company, to cooperate with superiors to improve safety of workplace.
