Mechanical Technician

Mission

To assemble and test machine based on engineering’s drawing and specification. Validate each assembly and carry out improvement process with other departments within the company.

Main Tasks

• Assembling of machine and sub assembly according to engineering’s drawing.
• Fill in appropriate checklist provided by supervisors on each assembly and testing phase.
• Report to supervisor in the event of roadblocks and work for solutions to solve the problem.
• Maintain machine and run diagnostic tests on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
• Documenting processes and maintain service records.
• Make photo and video reports for future reference.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and adhere to company’s safety regulations.

Information Technology

• Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• CAD

Competences & Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualifications.
• At least 5 years related work experience.
• Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Able to perform minor modification operation where appropriate but not limited to drilling, grinding, metal cutting, milling and welding.
• Knowledge in using simple metrology tools such as caliper, micrometer, pliers, screwdrivers, wire stripper, grinder, drilling, metal cutter, welding and other tools deem necessary.
• Problem solver.
• A good team player.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to operate light machinery.
