Mechanical Technician/Welder Repair Worker

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on mechanical equipment such as wire drawing machines, welders, and related machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform repairs to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Operate welding equipment to repair and fabricate metal components as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement preventive maintenance schedules and improve machine reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with machinery and hazardous materials.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or apprentices when necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant technical certification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Machine Mechanical Technician, Welder, or similar role in an industrial setting, preferably in the wire manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in machinery and equipment.
• Strong welding skills with experience in various welding techniques sample of machine) and familiarity with welding tools and materials.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
