Job Responsibility

  • Data CollectionandAnalysis:Collect, analyse, andensurethecompletenessandaccuracy of mediadata from various sources, includingprint, online,broadcast, and social media.
  • Report Drafting:Draft andprepare mediareports using designatedtemplates,integrating relevant content anddatabasedonclientspecifications.
  • Support Team Deliverables:Collaborate with team members to meetdeadlinesandensure the highestqualitystandards in reporting.
  • AdministrativeSupport:Performgeneral administrativeduties such asmaintaining records,organising files,andensuring all project documentationis up to date.
  • Contribute to Brainstorming:Actively participateinteam meetingsandbrainstormingsessions, offering suggestionstoimprove report quality andteam processes.
  • Data Visualization:Assist in creating or improving datavisualizations withinmediareports to betterconveyinsightsand storytelling.

Other Duties

Performadditional tasksand job-relatedduties asassignedbythe Media Services Manager to support teamoperations

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Mass Communication,Business,Statistics, Linguistics,or any relatedfield.
  • Strongwrittenandverbal communicationskills in Englishand BahasaMalaysia.
  • Ability to readandwritein ChineseorTamilis anaddedadvantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word,Excel,PowerPoint) is required.
  • Experience in media monitoringtools andsoftware is anadvantage.
  • Knowledgeofdatavisualizationtools (e.g.,Tableau, Power BI)andtheabilitytocreate compellingvisuals for reports isanadvantage.
  • Ability to writeclear,concise,and insightful reports, especially inresearchwriting.
  • Strongorganisationalskills, attentiontodetail,andthe ability to ensureaccuracy indata collectionand reporting.
  • Excellentcommunicationandteamwork skills, with the ability to interacteffectivelywith colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to learn new tools andprocessesquickly, adapting to changing workrequirements.
  • Ability to workeffectively in a team-orientedenvironment.
  • Astrongteamplayer whocan collaborate effectivelywithcolleaguesin adynamic, fast-pacedenvironment.
