As trusted advisors, you are the information security leaders within your organization and serve as role models for aspiring information security professionals. Your technical expertise, experience, and business acumen play a critical role in helping the organization ensure Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of its data, and integrates stronger security protocols in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Experience with network security architecture and implementation
• Familiar with technologies such as IPS, IDS systems, firewall virtualization, VPN concentrators, DMVPN, certificate handling, encryption methods, NAT (Network Address Translation), DMZ
• Solid experience with CISCO and Juniper technologies (routing, switching, WAN/LAN protocols, Wireless etc.)
• Familiar with medium and large enterprise networks
• Familiar with optimization and performance with focus on capacity planning, performance monitoring and automation CCNP- Routing & Switching and CCNP-Security certification will be an added advantage

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Provide design, implementation and support internal and external control points firewall/IPS, including monitoring, annual hardware and software refresh budgetary estimates and expansion or upgrade of existing infrastructure.
• Provide design, implementation and support for routers, switches, and controllers, including monitoring, annual hardware and software refresh budgetary estimates and expansion or upgrade of existing infrastructure.
• Participate in Security and Control related tasks such as audit and network infrastructure improvements
• Perform risk assessment on network connectivity and hardware/software assessment prior to rolling out new network devices.

• Diploma / Bachelor Degree or relevant work experience.
