Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist a student in after-school activities.
- Supervise student completion of daily homework.
- Encourage the development of necessary good social skills and increase independence.
- Create opportunities for skills learned to build upon and used in different situations.
- Able to identify the behavioral problem and determine the right course of action.
- Ensure the student's safety and well-being are taken care of at all times.
- Develop and maintain good relationships and communication with parents in meeting students' needs.
- Help student develops basic life skills, and live independently.
- Working experience as a one-to-one aide.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin, including reading, writing, and speaking to interact well with a student and his /her parent.
- Possesses good emotional intelligence, and the ability to socialize and work well with people at all levels.
- Possess good communication skills, and ability to explain complex day-to-day phenomena in a simple way to a special needs student.
- Support the School strong pastoral care and able to work professionally under guidance from a superior.
- Boarding and meals are provided.
