The Quality Manager is responsible to lead and drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence and zero defects.
This role is pivotal in fostering collaboration between teams, ensuring quality standards are met, and implementing robust systems to improve product and process quality while balancing delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Quality enabler by collaborating closely with the operation team to drive a unified approach to achieving quality objectives
- Analyze leading indicators (MDR, I-8D, CQC) to identify improvement opportunities and provide actionable direction
- Constantly looking into opportunities to simplify quality management processes (e.g. CMT and MDR) to balance quality and delivery outcomes effectively
- Lead QA task force initiatives to enhance in-line detection and reduce defect escapes
- Drive and review change management processes in Assembly or Test Operations to ensure compliance with NXP specifications
- Participate or lead Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) activities using structure methodologies to breakthrough quality improvement with process robustness and support zero defect initiatives. Key activities such as QCC projects, QIT projects; Quality Firewall and detection; Internal audit (Department focus pre-GMA; SWE, FMEA and Control Plan, Major Event commit actions) etc.
- Ensure readiness for IATF, GMA, and Customer audits. Conduct internal audits focusing on FMEA, Control Plan, SWE validation and major event actions
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management or any relevant field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance and operations within a manufacturing or semiconductor environment
- Strong expertise in quality improvement methodologies (e.g. DMAIC, Kaizen) and tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in quality standards such as IATF 16949, and familiarity with FMEA, Control Plan, 8D Methodology
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to drive change and foster team collaboration
