Responsibility
- Oversee factory renovation, machine installation, and layout optimisation for an efficient production workflow.
- Recruit, train and manage a small team of factory workers including foreign workers, ensuring adherence to processes and performance targets.
- Ensures smooth operations, efficient production, quality control, and timely delivery of products.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards in the production & assembly environment.
- Ensure all machinery is regularly serviced and operational.
- Working cross-departmentally with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that all operations are aligned with organizational objectives
- Develop and execute ground export procedures and sea freight logistics for international exports i.e. US & Oceania region
- Ensure that maintenance stays on schedule and within budget.
- Travel to job site whenever needed
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimising factory processes and reducing costs without compromising quality.
- Attend to other ad-hoc duties as and when needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Industrial Management, Manufacturing or related fields.
- At least 5 years working experience in production line related to building material i.e. windows, door, aluminium panel or similar.
- Expertise in production planning, inventory control, quality management and machine maintenance.
- Knowledge of export logistics (US and Oceania region).
- Knowledge with external and internal warehouse management system in advances
- Prefer candidates who are able to speak Mandarin as the position requires to work closely with Chinese speaking associates
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
