Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
- Process monthly payrolls ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and legislative requirements.
- Administer statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax) and maintain up-to-date payroll records.
- Manage EPF contributions and compliance, including handling audits and queries from statutory bodies.
- Prepare and submit monthly tax deductions (PCB/MTD) and coordinate annual tax filings (EA Forms, Form E).
- Reconcile payroll journals with finance accounts and generate reports for audits and management.
- Act as the primary contact for employee payroll inquiries and maintain confidential payroll master data.
- Oversee daily operations of the regional office, identify operational challenges, and implement productivity solutions.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management (or a related/equivalent field)
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory reporting.
- Working knowledge of Payroll systems and local Employment laws and regulations
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, promote and uphold HR initiatives and values, including discretion and confidentiality
- Able to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels of the organization in the resolution of HR issues
- Well-developed computer literacy skills within a Microsoft Office environment
