The Role

  • To ensure that the hotel’s human capital operational policies and processes are adhered to and continually improved.
  • To assist the Director of Human Capital & Development to prepare the hotel’s annual manpower budget in consultation with the department managers.
  • Responsible for all recruitment program, which will include activities such as advertising, screening, interviewing, reference checking, and employment offers.
  • To regularly update and post job vacancy advertisements on the Brands website.
  • To maintain a register of all position descriptions in the hotel in the prescribed formats and to update them on a regular basis so that they are relevant and reflective of the actual duties expected of these positions.
  • To keep in close contact with competitive hotel’s compensation and benefit practices and provide feedback to management when changes are needed so that the hotel can remain competitive with its identified competitors.
  • To play a pivotal role on associate’s disciplinary and counseling matters.
  • To assist in all activities concerning performance management and human capital administration.
  • Explain human resources policies, procedures and benefits to new employees.
  • Ensures that all new employees receive a warm welcome and are well attended to on their 1st day of employment.
  • Handles application of expatriates and renewal processes through the Expatriate Services Division portal.
  • Manage the preparation of disciplinary letters.
  • Implement corporate policies and procedures on compensation, incentive, bonus and benefits.
  • Continually assesses employee morale by analyzing absenteeism and turnover records, lateness and resignations.
  • Coordinate and oversee all matters related to employee facilities and transport.
  • Coordinates, controls and inspects employees dining area, rest rooms etc. ensuring it is of the highest possible standard of cleanliness and comfort.
  • Coordinate employee wellness and safety programs.
  • Encourages a good standard of employee conduct and behavior and coordinates disciplinary procedure as and when necessary.
  • Ensures appraisals are carried out for every employee every 12 months or as per hotels management policy, and also reviews all appraisals and follows up on development needs, if required.

Talent Profile

  • Bachelor Degree or specializations in Human Resource Management,Business Administration, psychology or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of working experiences in HR.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manging teams and aligning HR goals with business strategies.
  • Ability to address workplace issues and employee concerns.
  • Good knowledge of employment laws, compliances and workplace regulations.
  • Understand data and implementing HR stretegies.
  • Tech savy in HR software and tools.
