Physics Subject Leader

St Joseph’s Institution International School (SJIIS) is a Lasallian International School (3 to 18 years). SJIIS is seeking an outstanding and inspirational Physics Subject Leader whose passion and experience will transform the outcomes of our students. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to join the staff of this ambitious international school.

Experience of teaching Physics at IGCSE and A Level is essential.

Responsibility

• Oversee pedagogical practices and classroom management within the department to ensure high quality teaching and learning occurs. This will include modeling excellent teaching practices to other staff within the department.
• Promote the Lasallian Mission and Core Values of SJIIS
• Ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reports meet the expectations of the school
• To actively contribute to wider school development and growth
• Demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge
• Demonstrate a proactive approach towards professional development
