PMO SPECIALIST

Job Description

The PMO Specialist within our Automation and Transformation team is responsible for leading strategic retail automation projects across various channels. This role involves spearheading solution development, providing expert guidance, identifying opportunities for automation, researching, evaluating, and recommending best-in-class automation technologies, and developing comprehensive training plans for store personnel on new automated processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic projects for retail automation across the channel, including customer touchpoints, inventory management, back-office processes, and beyond.
• Spearhead solution development and implementation.
• Provide expert guidance and serve as a trusted advisor, sharing knowledge and expertise to empower teams and drive successful adoption.
• Identify opportunities for automation across our retail channel.
• Lead the implementation of transformation solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Develop and conduct comprehensive training plans for store personnel on new automated processes.
• Analyze data and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of post-automation initiatives.
• Partner and manage multiple stakeholders across cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Marketing) to ensure alignment and successful execution.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum degree holder with 8 years of experience in retail operations, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing automation solutions in a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of retail technology trends and emerging automation solutions (e.g. AI, chatbots, self-service kiosks).
• Able to handle and manage multiple stakeholders while managing tight deadlines.
• Experience working within fields of retail and/or planning.
• Any experience in change/transformation or cross divisional collaboration is a bonus.
• Familiar with agile project management methodologies.
