A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Data & Reporting Management

• Monitor KPIs for pricing effectiveness, win/loss analysis of tenders, and report management insights.
• Maintain accurate pricing and tender databases, ensuring data integrity across Vendavo, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
  
  
  

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Support cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Legal for pricing governance.
• Partner with Supply Chain/Logistics to ensure alignment on costing and availability during tender submissions.
  
  
  

Governance & Audit Readiness

• Ensure documentation and audit trails for tenders/quotations are complete and accessible for internal or external audits.
• Participate in compliance reviews and prepare for quality certifications (e.g., ISO, GDPMD if relevant).
  
  
  

System & Process Improvement

• Act as a super-user or key contact for Vendavo, Salesforce, or other pricing systems, helping troubleshoot and train new users.
• Recommend automation opportunities (e.g., email-to-SharePoint workflows, reducing manual overrides).
  
  
  

Market Intelligence

• Conduct regular benchmarking of competitor pricing and tender strategies, feeding insights back into price optimization.
• Anticipate risks from regulatory or policy changes in public procurement.
  
  
  

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in contracts or pricing
• Proficient in MS Excel and Vendavo/Salesforce/ServiceNow
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines (since tenders are time-sensitive)
• Strong attention to detail, especially with numbers and contract terms
• An analytical mindset to balance commercial competitiveness with margin protection
