We are on the lookout for a visionary Principal Engineer in the field of Production Management, in charge of sustaining and continuous improvement of assigned product portfolio(s) within the specific Product Line at Green Energy Control (GCO) in the division of Green Industrial Power (GIP).

Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Be responsible for sustaining and continuous improvement of assigned product portfolio(s) within specific Product Line at GIP GCO (Green Industrial Power - Green Energy Control).
- Drive Cost of Goods Sold (CoGS) improvement, analyze & identify cost down potential and optimize value chain
- Ensure achievement of Product Yield target as well as drive Yield improvement with an ambitious roadmap
- Act as key interface between Product Line and Operations to drive portfolio optimization measures for higher profitability
- Solve challenging problems with a systematic approach and with cross-functional teams
- Fast ramp of innovative chip technologies and packages, from development into volume manufacturing
- Contribute to manufacturing strategy, by supporting product and technology transfers to optimum locations
- Collaborate with Quality Management (QM) team for necessary quality improvement topics and issues
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in different areas, such as R&D, Operations, Product Engineering or similar ones
- Proven problem-solving & analytical skills and/or project management expertise
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills as well as international exposure
- Entrepreneurial spirit to drive improvement of product performance, quality, and profitability
- A deep understanding of the semiconductor technologies and supply chain
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing is strongly desirable.
- Experience in working with external manufacturing partners, OSAT and/or External Wafer Manufacturer (EWM), will be a strong plus.
