Process Control & DCS Expert (Automation Program)

The Expert will be supporting the East Asia Pacific cluster by providing operational support, leading various projects, and managing automation and efficiency initiatives related to process control and DCS systems.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• Provide operational support for primary production units through process control tuning and automation.
• Troubleshoot plant reliability issues and lead reliability improvement projects on the DCS.
• Manage automation, capital investment, and efficiency projects as a project manager across the East Asia Pacific cluster, from development to execution and handover.
• Identify and lead efficiency projects and automation improvements in collaboration with various internal and external teams, ensuring alignment with country needs.
• Define project scopes by gathering requirements and prepare technical specifications for modifications and implementations.
• Oversee project execution, including managing external applications, coordinating project reviews, and ensuring proper cost and budget control.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing by disseminating project lessons learned within the AL group and pursuing opportunities for group awards.
• Develop and mentor aspiring process control experts and efficiency engineers, providing project support and expanding training initiatives to the cluster level.
  
  
  

Are you a MATCH?

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Instruments Engineering or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of Process control and DCS engineering (Yokogawa) experience from the Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Power Generation or Petrochemicals Industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective interaction with all organizational levels and contractors.
• This position will be remunerated based on the domestic package.
