Procure to Pay Specialist (Mandarin)

Main accountabilities:


  • Responsible for activities assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager
  • Ensure both contractual and operational KPIs are met (responsibility of delivering the service within agreed deadlines and at the required quality)
  • Ensures all statements are reconciled.
  • Ensures that all invoices are paid according to company terms and time critical invoices are processed.
  • Ensures all vendor accounts are set-up as required.
  • Monitors statistics from processing and reviewing teams; ensure that productivity and quality targets are being achieved.
  • Act as an escalation point for all AP related issues raised by the client. Ensure the fast resolution of these issues and find ways as well to prevent them from happening again.
  • Communication with the client to ensure that the AP department complies with the latest changes in the procedures.
  • Develops good client relationships and good relations with the colleagues.
  • Ability to provide assistance to the staff.
  • Actively seeks opportunities for Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Complies with all clients published policies and procedures and any legal and regulatory requirements that the company is obliged to adhere to.
  • Assists in the creation of Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for Team Members not meeting expected production or quality targets, monitors program for a defined period.


  • Educational Qualifications


  • Accounting, Business or Finance Graduates, CPA an advantage


  • Working Conditions


  • Moderate to no travel depending on project involvement.
  • Work in office set-up during first 6 months. Work set-up to be revisited post stabilization.
  • Written and spoken ability to communicate in English and Mandarin
  • Management experience required.
  • Previous accounting experience/studies in particular AP
  • Must be able to impose herself/himself in front of the team through exceptional knowledge of the business and coaching skills.
  • Must be a good team player and be able to communicate easily with Accenture, Client, and third parties’ staff at all levels.
  • Responsibility and accuracy in the completion of received tasks.
  • Ability to solve urgent matters and work under pressure.
  • Ability to impose a proactive spirit in the team.
  • Flexibility, especially in the period of month/quarter/year-end closing
