Job Responsibilities

Create Material Code

• Process new or existing material code creation.
• Maintain and update material master list.
• Manage phase-in and phase-out list.
  
  

Develop new supplier and supplier relationship management

• Regular conversation with suppliers to understand market trend and any updates impacting supply chain business.
• Sourcing new product and on-boarding supplier process.
• Collaborate with various stakeholder for alternative source and cost saving initiatives projects.
• Ensure continuous improvement process internal and external (suppliers).
  
  

Price negotiation

• Negotiate the best price to meet company’s AOP.
• Create Purchase Contract in SAP.
• Maintain price list in price catalogue.
  
  

Supply Assurance

• Review the critical item/suppliers based on risk analysis.
• Develop and propose contingency plan.
• Execute contingency plan.
  
  

Compliance to purchase regulations of Malaysia government/authorities

• Registration and licenses required e.g MPOB, SIM and etc.
