What You Get To Do
- Design and optimize electrical systems, PLC programming, controls, electrical harnesses, and software for heavy mobile equipment.
- Conduct detailed analyses to ensure compliance with federal transportation regulations and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into products seamlessly.
- Enhance manufacturability by supporting production processes and participating in operational excellence initiatives.
- Utilize tools like Draftsite and Solidworks to create detailed designs and communicate with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or higher).
- Expertise in electrical system design, PLC programming, and mobile equipment controls.
- Familiarity with federal transportation standards and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in SAE J1939 protocol and Parker IQAN systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with stage gate/phase gate product development processes.
