Product Manager (3-Phase UPS)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager specializing in 3-phase UPS systems to drive product strategy, market development, and technical leadership in our power solutions portfolio. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and marketing acumen, with the ability to switch between detailed technical discussions and high-level marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

Product Management & Technical Leadership:

• Lead product strategy and lifecycle management for 3-phase UPS portfolio
• Analyze customer requirements across various segments (data centers, industrial, healthcare) specific to 3-phase UPS applications
• Conduct competitive analysis of 3-phase UPS manufacturers, focusing on technical specifications, pricing, and market positioning
• Develop technical specifications and product requirements for new 3-phase UPS solutions
  
  

Market Development

• Create value propositions for 3-phase UPS products highlighting efficiency ratings, redundancy options, and total cost of ownership
• Establish pricing strategies for UPS systems, service packages, and accessories
• Analyze market trends in 3-phase UPS technologies, including lithium-ion integration and modular solutions
• Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies for UPS product lines
  
  

Technical Support & Customer Engagement

• Provide expert technical consultation on 3-phase UPS configurations, parallel systems, and power distribution
• Conduct technical presentations on UPS topology, efficiency curves, and system architecture
• Support customers with complex UPS specifications and tender requirements
• Guide sales teams on technical aspects of 3-phase UPS solutions
  
  

Product Launch & Documentation

• Manage new product introduction (NPI) process for 3-phase UPS systems
• Oversee technical documentation including installation manuals, specification sheets, and white papers
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IEC, UL, CE) for UPS systems
• Coordinate with testing agencies for product certifications
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering
• Minimum 8 years’ experience of relevant experience in UPS/Generators, Product Sales & Marketing
• Experience with parallel UPS configurations and system sizing and understanding of power quality standards and electrical distribution systems
• Proficient in UPS efficiency calculations and TCO analysis and knowledge of battery technologies and backup time calculations
