Job Description


The Production Planner is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources while meeting customer demand, delivery timelines, and quality standards. This role coordinates closely with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales to maintain smooth production flow and minimize downtime or shortages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
  • Analyze demand forecasts, sales orders, and inventory levels to plan production
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure raw materials and components are available
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays or changes
  • Optimize capacity utilization, labor, and equipment efficiency
  • Communicate production plans clearly to manufacturing and operations teams
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, lead times, and inventory levels
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks or inefficiencies
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports in MRP systems
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction efforts


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in management / Operation science, Math or related field (or equivalent degree) Strong in Math and science
  • Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain operations will add advantage
  • Proficiency in MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle,) will add advantage
  • Advanced Excel or data analysis skills will add advantage
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment add advantage
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles add advantage
  • Fresh graduates are encourage to apply
