Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities :

• To coordinate new test run of new mould supplied by customer or in-house tooling.
• To establish process that produces the best product quality with minimum cycle time at the same time taking care of machine and mould safety.
• To perform evaluation of new or existing mould, new product and machines: anticipate specific problem from machine, process, mould or material.
• To perform interior product analysis and investigation.
• To perform process improvement and contribute ideas for project further improvement.
• To interact with the counterpart on the customer side on any technical and quality issues when required.
• To monitor and perform SPC on new product before mass production on progress.
• To ensure proper engineering documentation and working manual for all products.
• To collaborate with other departments from new project till part approval stage included attending NPEA meeting and Capability Review Meeting.

Requirements

• Process at least Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years relevant experience in a Plastic Injection Molding manufacturing environment.
• Excellent in analysis of root causes and use statistical chart.
• Strong planning, analytical thinker and problem solving skill.
• Good interpersonal skill, ability to work as part of team, to motivate team efforts and to deliver targets within realistic timelines.
• Pro- active and able to work independently with minima supervision.
