Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the project to ensure it progresses according to the plan.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Establish and enforce rigorous quality control measures to maintain project standards and specifications.
- Allocate and manage resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
- Coordinating with suppliers to ensure all required raw materials ordered are delivered to site in a timely manner.
- Monitor resource utilization, budget expenditures, and project costs, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborating with the architect, engineers and other consultants involved in the project to ensure that all work is carried out in a coordinated and streamlined manner.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence.
- Maintaining records of the construction activities on site, including progress reports, inspection reports, and documenting any issues or concerns that arise.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years related working experience in the construction field.
- Experience and participating in the Flood Mitigation Project (Project Tebatan Banjir) would be a plus.
- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with contractors, consultants, suppliers and other relevant parties.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- This position is based in Sungai Lembing, Kuantan, Pahang.
- Candidate must be willing and able to work in above mentioned location.
