Project Engineer (Architect)

Requirements:
Must have an extensive proven experience in using Autocad / similar drafting software.
- Must be able to work in a team and be able to meet deadlines set by the superiors and project team.
- Revit/BIM knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in drafting for high-rise projects is a plus.
- Must be able to make detailed drawings submissions in 2D for consultant approval and addressing all related comments.
- Must be familiar with basic understanding of UBBL and local authority requirements.
- Degree in Architecture studies or related field.
- Position is based in Miri, Sarawak
Responsibilities:
Drafter:
1. Prepare accurate and high-quality drawings of Design Development, Development Order (D.O.), Building Plan, (BP), Tender and Construction Drawings using AutoCAD.
2. Implement & independently manage projects drawings and changes to support all phases of the project
3. Responsible for updates and accuracy in drawings & documentation, technical reports and assist in managing all aspects of design development & site implementation or changes and include in shop drawings/ construction drawings.
4. Work together with technical, project , and design team to understand design issues or errors & provide solutions in ensuring product meeting intended design objectives
Project Architect:
· Develop project from conceptual design through final construction documents and coordinate construction administration.
· Plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
· Apply project architect and management skills to a diverse range of project types including retail, commercial, industrial, etc.
· Work closely with clients, consultants and project team to provide intelligent solutions and strategies on projects.
· Manage architectural work to achieve quality and efficiency within budgeted deadlines.
· Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
· Plan schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
· Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.
· (Proactively) manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans to be presented to clients/consultants/contractors.
· Resolve complex technical/design issues and completion of architectural technical deliverables of a project in a timely manner.
· Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
· To assist Directors/HOD in any matters pertaining to the job at hand or when and where necessary.
· To attend Client Consultant/Technical/Site/Coordination meetings for the job at hand.
· To attend all authority requirement (meetings, submissions, inspections, etc.) where and when required.
