About the role

As a Project Engineer (Civil) at TERAS IMPIANA SDN. BHD., you will play a crucial role in the delivery of civil and structural engineering projects. This full-time position in Kuala Lumpur will see you collaborating closely with the project management team to ensure the successful completion of projects to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing and coordinating all civil and structural engineering activities on project sites
  • Reviewing and analysing technical drawings, specifications, and other project documents
  • Identifying and resolving engineering-related issues that arise during construction
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem-solving
  • Monitoring project progress, quality, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations
  • Preparing progress reports, technical reports, and other project documentation
  • Supporting the project management team in the planning and scheduling of activities

    • What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar project engineer role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Proven experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and other project documents
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, and project management tools
  • Familiarity with relevant civil and structural engineering codes, regulations, and standards
