Project Engineer - Instrument (Oil & Gas)

Salary offer: RM4,000 - 5,000 per month

Contract duration: 12 months contract under PERSOLKELLY.

Location: Sunway REIT Industrial – Building P1 Lot 3, Jalan SS 8/6, Sungai Way, 47300 Petaling Jaya Selangor, MALAYSIA

Working hour: Monday - Friday (8.5 hours)

Responsibilities:

• Involve in project development cycle – Study project order, prepare design specification, engineering documentation, raise procurement request, coordination with customer/suppliers, trigger milestone claims, user acceptance test
• Coordinate all project elements including engineering design, quality planning, procurement , acceptance test, installation, and commissioning
• Assist project manager/senior in project management/organization
• Produce deliverables on-time to customer requirements, clarifying these requirements or participate in customer meetings when required
• Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, including plans, designs, reports, and updates.
• Prepare progress reports and present progress at internal project meetings and to clients
• Perform site survey/study of job requirement to develop specifications for the materials, equipment and engineering.
• Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers
• Sourcing coordinator (optional) experience – review request from team, to source from suppliers, compare cost, approval. High integrity with compliance to SCM process.

• Experience with oil and gas field, process transmitter instrumentation, analyzers, automation – PLC etc.
• Skill in AUTOCAD, communication, gas and water analyzers, instrumentation tools
• Good communication with customer and team members.
• Ability to work under time pressure, analytical thinking
• Ability to work for multiple projects/account
• Independently determine approach and assigned tasks

Requirements:

1. Minimum Bachelor in any engineering or related. Preferred in Chemical engineering.
2. MUST have minimum 2 years experience in project management for Oil & Gas Industry.
3. Ability to work in a team and excellent organization of own work.
4. Ability to work under time pressure, analytical thinking
5. Experience with SAP.
6. Good English communication skills (written and spoken is preferred).
