Project & Field Engineer

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Execute the project and site construction in a safe, quality, efficient and timely manner in accordance to contract specifications and company policy.
2. Project execution and coordination throughout the project life cycle:
   • Engineering Schedule Control and Monitoring
   • Sourcing & Procurement initiation activity and assist in vendor evaluation process
   • Vendor and Supply Chain expediting and progress monitoring
   • QA QC activities coordination
   • Assist logistic and delivery planning and execution
   • Site work execution inclusive sub-contractors progress monitoring, site engineering coordination, client interfacing and management
   • Assist site Testing and Commissioning Activities
3. Close communication with Project Manager and intra department to address and resolve project execution issue.
4. Weekly and monthly project progress reporting
5. Ensure that company’s interests are protected and minimize contractual risk, while fulfilling Contract obligation.
6. Comprehends contractual conditions and technical specifications and looks for cost savings opportunities.
7. Identifies and records changes to the project scope of supply and advise Project Manager.
8. Ensure subcontractors comply with the contract requirements and putting sufficient resources to meet the project schedule
9. Together with Quality team, ensure overall project quality requirement is met.
10. Together with HSSE Team, ensure overall site works are carried out safely, securely and environmental friendly accordingly Client requirement, company policy, local and international standards.
11. Maintains a record of all communications related to the project.

Requirements

1. Degree in Mechanical, Engineering, construction management or equivalent
2. Minimum 2 - 3 relevant years in project and/or construction management and knowledgeable of:

• Construction Management
• Project Life Cycle Management
• Basic Technical knowledge in UHP and/or semiconductor industries (will be beneficial)

1. Good interpersonal skill, team player, dedicated with positive attitude and responsive.
2. Agile and a good problem solver
3. Good communication skill in speaking and writing of English (oral and written).
4. Good communication skill in other Malay and Mandarin (oral, will be a plus)
5. Able to communicate in German language (will be plus)
6. Have no issue to travel and/or stationed at outstation and overseas for project/construction executions
7. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate is advantageous.
8. Previous credentials in leading in various trade especially in Mechanical, Electrical and Process system will be beneficial
