Project Manager (Interior Design Fit-Out)

Salary: MYR 5,000 - MYR 6,500 per month

Contract type: Full time

To oversee overall project activities and take lead on project implementation, develop a detailed project execution plan to monitor and track project site performance and oversee site works progress to ensure successful completion.
To liaise and coordination with clients, contractor, sub-contractors, carpentry, supplier and relevant authorities to ensure execution and quality plan and execution of the contract requirements.
To plan and execute manpower, materials, equipment and other resources required for project
To manage & monitor supervision on the works performed by in-house staff or subcontractors at sites and to motivate the entire team.
Coordinate with all relevant department and work as a team.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly site progressive reports & updates with designer and management.
To reports and develop remedial measures if necessary
To attend all related meeting as required.
Responsible for project’s correspondence and documentations.
Monitoring safety & regulations on-site.
Problem-solving on site to address any issues: Able to arrange and coordinate meeting with all relevant parties to resolve all the design and construction matters.
Handle & manage defect works.
Ensure that the project is completely handed over without any issues & within timeline.
To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the management.
All your works are compulsory save in company’s server and follow SUA ISO procedure.
To complete any ad-hoc tack given by company

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in retail fit-out or commercial interior design
Strong technical design skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and other design software
Equipped with good AutoCad skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Points
Independent, good sense of responsibility and willing to work long hours when required.
Proficiency in both written and spoken in English and Mandarin is an added advantage
Able to work under stress and tight deadlines, willing to learn and take up new challenges
Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities
Keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and functional spaces
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with clients and stakeholders
Malaysian citizens are preferred.
