- Responsibilities:
- Prepare, update, and review the work schedule for the project.
- Advise the operation team on: -
- Project status and issues to be investigated and resolved.
- Manpower, machinery, equipment, and material requirement.
- Document submissions for approval.
- Recovery / mitigation action plans should any delay be recorded.
- Review and provide feedback on schedule and manpower allocations submitted by subcontractors.
- Identify changes in work scope in the project plan and prepare actual data, update the project schedule, and develop reliable schedule forecasts with support from the project team.
- Produce progress reports and ensure to take appropriate planning measures with all clients to reassess, negotiate, and amend the scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts, and budgets.
- Track the project and ensure that all issues affecting the completion of the project are recorded in accordance with contract requirements.
- Monitor and report progress performance, conduct delay analysis, and provide mitigation actions.
- Develop site utilization programs and reports.
- Prepare Weekly and Monthly Progress reports and review drawings details.
- Prepare Extension of Time application using Time Impacted Analysis (TIA).
- Prepare work schedules for tenders.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.
- Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in construction planning background.
- Familiar with JKR projects and systems.
- Familiar with Design & Build construction projects.
- Possess construction knowledge, strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and SEQUENCE OF WORK.
- Competent in AutoCAD, Primavera and MICROSOFT PROJECT.
- Highly competent in Critical Path Analysis.
- Own transport and willing to travel for site visits within Malaysia.
