The role

We are looking for an experienced Proposals and Contracts Manager to join our growing team. As a Proposal and Contracts Manager at Southern Star, you’ll work in an exciting and fast-paced environment, ensuring that client requests are appropriately addressed throughout the proposal process.

The position is a full-time remote position, with flexibility to be based in Malaysia or the Philippines.

Reporting to the Head of Proposals and Contracts, you’ll be responsible for:

• Preparation of new project proposals and contractual documents, including Master Service Agreements and Work Orders.
• Working collaboratively with the business development team, strategy team, heads of department and operational teams to ensure that client requests are appropriately addressed within the proposal
• Liaising with the finance team to oversee timely invoicing and accurate project finance tracking
• Supporting the Head of Projects and Project Managers to ensure compliance with contract procedures
• Attendance at bid defence meetings as needed
• Accurate tracking of change orders within the CRM
• Leadership of change in scope meetings, actioning follow-up items as required
  
  

To be successful in the role, we’re looking for candidates with:

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in the medical, pharmaceutical or healthcare disciplines.
• A minimum of 5 years' proposals experience within a CRO environment
• Proven track record in the development and management of budgets
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• The ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with competing projects and deadlines, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills;
• Demonstrated business ethics and integrity;
