Role Overview

Join the dynamic team at Maxis as a PS Core Intern and gain hands-on experience in designing, managing, and optimizing cutting-edge 4G/5G core networks. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to essential projects such as the 4G/5G NSA Evolved Packet Core (EPC) Capacity Refresh and Expansion, while developing skills in network design, project management, and technical analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• PS Core Network Design: Assist in designing Packet Switched Core (PS Core) networks for optimal performance and scalability.
• Project Management: Track timelines and milestones for Evolved Packet Core (EPC) expansion projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Network BIS (Business Impact Study): Perform BIS analysis to evaluate and optimize EPC project implementation.
• Capacity Refresh and Expansion: Support activities related to the capacity upgrade of the 4G/5G NSA EPC.
• Collaborative Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of project deliverables.
  
  

Project Focus

The intern will actively participate in the 4G/5G NSA Evolved Packet Core (EPC) Capacity Refresh and Expansion project, gaining practical experience in next-generation network technologies and capacity planning.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's in Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of telecommunications networks, including mobile network architecture (e.g., 4G/5G), device connectivity, and network protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
