Job Responsibility
- Supplier Management: Liaise with suppliers to negotiate the best deals, ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
- Purchase Order Management: Issue purchase orders (PO) and closely monitor stock movement to ensure timely arrival.
- Stock Quality Control: Inspect received stock for quality assurance, ensuring it meets company standards before acceptance.
- Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Price Setting: Ensure that the selling price setting is correct and reasonable.
- Promotions Planning: Plan and execute promotions with suppliers and Purchasing Head to drive sales and optimize inventory turnover.
- Stock Audits & Integrity: Conduct regular stock audits and stock takes to identify discrepancies and uphold inventory accuracy.
- Issue Resolution: Address stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or supplier-related issues efficiently to minimize operational disruptions and disposal.
- Collaboration: Work closely with receiving and selling floor teams to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports on stock levels, supplier performance, and procurement activities for management review.
- Operational Support: Assist in general operational functions and handle ad-hoc assignments as required.
- Timely response to suppliers and colleagues: Able to attend request or questions from suppliers and colleagues (during weekend via phone calls/whatsapp)
- Strong analytical, influencing and negotiating skills
- Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
- Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
- Candidates must possess at least SPM
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Good numerical skills and decisive
