- Sourcing for raw materials, request quotation from suppliers, including local and overseas.
- Negotiate the price with suppliers and do comparison between different suppliers.
- Liaise with suppliers for defect materials.
- Perform daily purchasing operations, issues Purchase Order, matching Delivery Order against Purchase Order and Invoice, prepare GRN and PI for submission to Account Department.
- Follow up and expediting with supplier on delivery schedule.
- Prepare month end stock inventory list and purchasing report.
- Prepare other documents such as stock issue/ receive and stock adjustment.
- Participate in the monthly stock take and carry out any ad hoc stock take requests as required.
- Filling and documentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration/ Economics/ Purchasing or any other related fields.
- Candidates with working experiences in purchasing is preferable.
- Keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
