PURCHASING CLERK

• Follow and maintain the workflow, process, guidelines, policies, and procedures involving purchasing, forms management, item processing, and fleet management.
• Obtain quotations and compare the cost for superiors to evaluate, analyze, project, and negotiate with suppliers further.
• Work closely and maintain communication with colleagues, farms, mills, and vendors to ensure the flow of documents or data is available and endorsed to process requisition, administer orders timely, and update computerized information.
• Ensure the Purchase Requisite Form is supported by 3 quotations for comparison and signed by respective parties before procurement.
• Ensure the system captures the cost center in specific i.e. farm, house, and machine
• Visit farms and mills to confirm items if necessary.
• Assist in the implementation of any initiative or program from the Administration Department.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess own transport.
• Computer literate, meticulous, and good communication skills.
• High proficiency in Chinese shall be an added advantage.
