QC Technician

Responsibilities included:

• Responsible for all quality control activities required when receiving parts, equipment, spare parts, materials and consumables either from suppliers or from project return.
• Responsible for all quality control activities when preparing welding consumables, measuring tools and equipment.
• Able to assist other QC Technician for equipment quality control, calibration and commissioning activities.
• Depending on individual training and qualification, can be assigned also to welding program and activities i.e. to monitor the WPQT, WQT and production phase where necessary including the weld preparation, recording the inspection deliverables , visual inspection with specific measuring tools and preparing the inspection report.
• Has authority to reject any non-conforming works, equipment, materials and products.
• Assist QC Manager in establishing related quality documents required to be compiled and submitted to the required parties.
• Maintain identification and traceability.
• Preparing, updating, and compiling all related conducted inspection reports.

Requirements

Education:
• Diploma in Engineering (Minimum)
• Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance activities
• Quality Control aspects shall be trained as on the job training basis
