QUALITY ENGINEER (PLASTICS)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of product quality requirements through systematic approaches.
• Maintain quality system in accordance to ISO9001, IATF16949 & ISO13485 standards.
• Lead a group of Technicians to perform daily inspection works and improvement activities.
• Conduct inspection and verification activities for First Article Inspection of plastic parts
• Develop engineering solutions to encounter issues through detailed root cause analysis.
• Provide excellent customer support by promptly handling customer complaint and executing corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with cross functional team to identify and solve issues, continuously strive for quality improvements.
• Lead or participate in internal and external QMS audits.

Basic Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Polymer) or Applied Science (Physic/Chemistry) or equivalent.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in ISO9001 QMS, IATF16949 QMS, 5 Core Tools (PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, APQP) are preferable.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the manufacturing, preferably from Plastics Injection Molding Industry.
• A candidate with skills in CMM programming will be at an advantage.
• Good analytical skill and ability to apply appropriate problem solving techniques.
• Good communication and report writing skill.
