QUANTITY SURVEYOR (FULL TIME/ PART TIME)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Cost Management: Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and analyze cost reports and forecasts, assess variations, and provide recommendations to optimize project costs.
• Contract Administration: Manage contracts and their associated legal obligations, ensuring compliance with contract terms, change management protocols, and dispute resolution processes.
• Quantity Surveying: Undertake measurement and quantification of project elements, prepare bills of quantities, assess and value variations, assess contractor claims, and provide accurate and timely valuation of works.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to cost, contracts, and quantity surveying matters. Provide guidance on risk management strategies and support in resolving issues and disputes.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with project teams, clients, contractors, and external consultants to effectively communicate, negotiate, and manage expectations related to cost, contracts, and quantity surveying requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• At least Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or equivalent.
• At least (3) years working experience in related field
• Extensive experience in quantity surveying and cost management
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required, as the role involves communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Chinese candidate needed to meet specific project requirements and client expectations.
