Quote Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotes for sales teams, agents, or customers.
  • Provide product pricing, delivery specifications, and payment terms, offering alternative products when appropriate (supported by Sales).
  • Utilize customer engineering knowledge and experience to determine product specifications, applications, and pricing necessary for specific projects.
  • Proactively collaborate with the Customer Solutions division (engineers, order management, claims) and customers to address business needs and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with Sales Support - Order Management to convert quotations into orders.
  • Ensure proper documentation is in place upon proposal/quotation acceptance and transfer required information to Sales Support - Order Management via CRM.
  • Manage CAD Drawing requests for quotations and new orders.
  • Operate CRM daily to update and maintain quotation statuses, customer profiles, and business development activities.
  • Prepare quotation reports and other required documentation for relevant departments.
  • Provide responsive, high-quality service to customers, actively analyzing and addressing feedback on customer needs, pricing, products, competition, and procedures.
  • Participate in sales meetings, workshops, product meetings, internal department meetings, Customer Solutions meetings, and training sessions to enhance product knowledge.
  • Assist Order Management with additional assigned administrative duties as necessary (project-based).
  • Prepare sales contracts as needed.
  • Maintain proper electronic and hard copy documentation following Customer Solution guidelines.

Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma in any field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related position.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of industrial and technical engineering calculations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Required Language: English.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage due to the need to liaise with clients within Asia.
