The R2R Analyst is responsible for financial closing activities are completed timely.

This position is part of the Record to Report Team located in Petaling Jaya and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Ensure all financial close activities are completed on time, adhering to corporate timelines, guidelines, and policies.
• Handle financial activities including journal preparation and posting, monthly and quarterly closing, financial statements, schedules, and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation in line with Finance Manual Policy and investigate discrepancies.
• Participate in SOX Audit compliance and other internal/external audit requirements, supporting the financial controller in GAAP and local statutory reporting.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and data integrity of financial data, supporting general accounting work, government reporting, and group reporting.
  
  

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional qualification required.
• 2-7 years of relevant experience (preferably in Shared Service environment).
• Excellent attention to detail; self-starter; quick learner; independent team player; initiative-driven.
• Effective team player with high integrity, initiative, and urgency.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP or Oracle).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
