Get to Know the Team

In our Strategy and Analytics team, we are dedicated to leveraging data to drive strategic decisions for our Commercial and Support functions. We work closely with various teams and partners to provide comprehensive data insights that help us better serve our consumers and partners in the marketplaces across Southeast Asia.

Get to Know the Role

It takes a village to give a safe and delightful service to our users and partners. As things get more complex, "the village" needs highly multi-skilled leaders who can lift their head above the noise and push us to do what is truly best for our customers. This is you. You will report into the Regional Business Analytics Manager will manage highly complex projects working with various teams in Grab with the purpose of giving our users and partners world class analytics and insights support.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will lead the charge, influencing and serving our partners and stakeholders.
• You will work independently, assembling large and complex data sets that meet business or analytical needs.
• You will build and deploy data models to optimize data insights and experience.
• You will collaborate closely with Business or Operations Teams to understand their problem statements and conceptualize analytics frameworks that convert business problems into technical hypotheses.
• You will design and recommend A/B testing to evaluate model performance, interpret experiment results, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• You will develop and maintain data insights and performance dashboards.
• You will be a strong advocate for our users, prioritizing the quality of their experience with us above all else.
  
  

This role is based in Petaling Jaya and onsite.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• We are looking for someone who has at least 6 years of data analytics experience
• You have proven project management skills in leading, executing and delivering projects
• You have ability to work with stakeholders across several organization levels and several cultures
• You are well versed in analytical tools such as Power Apps, PowerBI
• You have strong knowledge in SQL to extract large disconnected datasets on Azure/AWS data platform
• This role requires main knowledge of data programming (Python, R)
• You are familiar with strategy and commercial sales experience is good to have.
