Responsibilities
- Provide consecutive interpretation via video in English to Mandarin
- Interpret live conversations with accuracy, neutrality, and clarity
- Follow confidentiality protocols and ethical guidelines
- Adapt to various subject matters including healthcare, insurance, and legal terminology
- Attend virtual training and ongoing skill development sessions
- Fluent in Mandarin + Fluent in English
- Full-time availability Monday to Friday, 9 AM 5 PM EST
- Own a PC/Laptop with Intel i5 processor and minimum 8 GB RAM
- Noise-cancelling headset and HD webcam
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection
- Prior experience in interpreting, customer service, or call center environments
- Familiarity with medical, legal, or insurance terminology
- Fully remote work from home
- Hourly compensation in USD
