Resident Engineer - Highway, Kuantan (M&E Consultant)

Salary range : Start from RM 9000 depends on related experience

• Oversee the assigned duties within a work package and ensure that the works are delivered in accordance to the project specification, quality and safety requirements
• Responsible for following up, coordinating and driving works at site to meet the requirements of the project.
• Monitor and report to the client on the progress of all project activities including milestones and any conditions which will affect the project schedule and performance
• Handle site matters, supervise and monitor site works & progress
• Participate in and witness testing & commissioning of all building M&E services
• Check & Review contractor’s project execution plan, quality control plan & method statements
• Assign duties to site staff and monitor site staff performance
• Attend relevant meeting, inspection and witness all testing
• Be familiar with legal requirements and check that the work complies with them
• Provide relevant info and response to queries from contractors
• Check and oversee the preparation of as-built drawings and records
• Conduct site audit and issue site memos & NCR as and when necessary and monitor & track all document submittals
• Ensure all documents are in place and update regularly in systematic order (site records, drawings and instructions from superintendent officer, etc.)
• Liaise with the project team members, including client, contractors, consultants and authorities on site matters and interfacing works
• Verify work done by contractors for progress claim certification purpose
• To perform other duties as and when required by the management.
  
  
  

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Degree in Engineering (Electrical /Electronic /Mechanical) or equivalent.

At least 8 Years of working experience in similar field for Highway Project is required for this position.

Positive attitude, willing to learn and able to work independently.
