We are a popular Malaysian restaurant and are now recruiting for cashiers.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Skilled in using cashier system to accurately and correctly settle customers' purchases, including the processing of cash, bank card, mobile payment and other payment methods.

2) Calculate customers' consumption amount quickly and accurately, print clear and complete small bills, and provide customers with patient and meticulous explanation and service.

3)Strictly comply with the financial system to ensure the accuracy of cash receipts and payments, and conduct daily cash inventory to achieve day-to-day settlement. Keep cash, cheques, invoices and other financial instruments properly.

4)Communicate with customers in a warm and friendly manner, answer their questions about the price of food, special offers, invoicing, etc., and provide satisfactory answers and solutions.

5) Assist the finance department in daily account reconciliation, report preparation, etc., to ensure the clarity and accuracy of the accounts, and to detect and report any abnormalities in a timely manner.

6) Maintain the normal operation of cash register equipment, contact technicians for repair in case of failure and make backup plans to ensure the continuity of cash register work.

7) Cooperate with the restaurant management team, participate in the implementation of promotional activities, such as coupons, discount coupons write-offs, etc., to ensure the smooth implementation of the activities.

Tenure Requirements:

1) Possess a solid foundation in maths, accurate calculation skills, sensitive to numbers and able to handle complex amount calculations quickly.

2) Possess excellent communication skills and service awareness, always keep a smile and enthusiasm, able to effectively respond to a variety of customer needs and problems, to provide quality service experience.

3) Priority will be given to those with relevant cashiering experience, familiar with financial processes and norms, and possessing a certain degree of financial knowledge.

4) Be honest and trustworthy, of good character, with a high sense of responsibility and rigorous work attitude, strict adherence to financial discipline and professional ethics.

(5) Good teamwork spirit, able to work with colleagues to complete the overall work objectives of the restaurant.

6) Be able to adapt to the working pace of the restaurant, including busy peak periods and overtime arrangements during holidays.
