Job Description:
- Training Program Development:
- Design, develop, and update training materials, including manuals, online modules, and videos.
- Create training programs that cover various aspects of restaurant operations, including Nanyang, Western and Chinese Food stations besides fundamental ok kitchen skills like basic kitchen training programs.
- Design LTO-related materials and conduct pre-Launch training
- Training Delivery:
- Conduct training sessions for new hires and existing staff, ensuring they understand company policies, procedures, and standards, especially for kitchen employees.
- Use various training methods, such as on-the-job training, classroom training, and e-learning, to accommodate different learning styles.
- Evaluation and Improvement:
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, testing, and performance evaluations.
- Continuously update training materials and methods based on feedback and industry best practices.
- Support and Guidance:
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to Kitchen staff to reinforce training and address performance issues.
- Work with the Kitchen management team or any related department to identify skill gaps and recommend additional training or development opportunities.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all training programs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations and update training materials accordingly.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and employee progress.
- Prepare regular reports on training outcomes and provide management insights.
Job requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a training role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in using training software and e-learning platforms.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
