Water Quality (‘WQ”) Platform is part of the Environmental & Applied Solutions reporting segment and is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater, and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands, including Hach, Trojan Technologies, McCrometer and ChemTreat. WQ Asia has sales offices in India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
About Role
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

About Role
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
What You'll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)
- Drives growth in business to the Key customers in the assigned Region/ customer groups (East Coast Malaysia)
- Single point of contact to the Key Accounts for technical and solution related queries, sales opportunities and coordination of service requirements
- Understand the water technology space and has existing relationships with key players
- Develops, implements & sustains comprehensive account plans (sales, marketing and service programs/strategies) to achieve annual booking and sales numbers
- Understand the market and its trends, competitors, and opportunities covering the whole municipal & general industries.
- Prepares and maintains all sales documentation (Sales Funnel, Client Profile, etc.) and ensures updated maintenance of SFDC
- Develop a joint growth strategy and growth bridge with the management of the account while penetrating all divisions of the account with the broadest possible range of Hach products and the value added Hach Solutions.
- Attend & handle networking event, roadshow, seminar, workshop related to water business.
- Conduct and lead market research, including voice-of-the-customer interviews, to assess current and future customer requirements and benchmark competition.
- One year experience with sales/Technical responsibilities in a B2B space (preferably in a water-related business)
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans.
- Self-starter and must be comfortable working independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An eye for detail with a bias for action
- Teamwork and ability to work across cultures, locations and business teams.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Ability to analyze complicated issues and boil down to the key points, develop action plans and bring to a successful conclusion.
- Conviction of thought and ability to persuade others.
- Excellent presentation skills and competence in MS office tools
- Work nature: Remote, High ability to travel & meet customer.
- You will play an integral part in shaping the OpCo and the whole platform’s business in Asia, one of strongest and highly visible region with many untapped opportunities
- You will work with a team where the goal is to create an environment of continuous-improvement, wellness, and open, honest, two-way communication
