Our client, a leading provider of advanced automation and industrial solutions, renowned for delivering cutting-edge technology across multiple sectors, including Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Palm Oil Refinery, Chemicals, and Pharmaceuticals. As part of their continuous growth, we are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join their team and drive business development through consultative selling within a designated region.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales activities across the assigned territory, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
- Drive revenue growth by achieving or surpassing annual sales targets through consultative sales techniques.
- Implement strategies provided by the sales leadership team to secure profitable orders and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Plan and execute customer visits, ensuring productivity and efficient field activities.
- Track and follow up on all generated quotations, ensuring maximum conversion into orders and analyzing feedback on unsuccessful deals for improvement.
- Conduct regular reviews of your sales activities and continuously refine approaches for increased productivity and effectiveness.
- Proactively seek out new prospects to grow the customer base and fully capitalize on sales opportunities.
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering is beneficial, candidates with proven technical knowledge and consultative selling experience are equally welcome.
- Strong commitment to safety, collaboration, excellence, customer focus, and integrity is essential.
- Hands-on approach to technical sales, including the ability to add value by walking customers through industrial processes and offering tailored solutions.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Must possess a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.
- Prior experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Palm Oil Refinery, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, or healthcare is highly desirable and will enhance your ability to provide value to customers.
